This is an intimate mixture of liquid resinous material and a powder composed of suitably selected filler usually containing the required setting agent. This is a non-porous, self hardening and relarively plastic in nature. When set and cooled a dense impermeable cement is obtained.It is designed to use as a bonding cement for Acid Proof Brick / Tile lining in Tanks, Vessels , Floor and Drain etc.
This cement provides resistant to a wide range of non oxidising acids, alkalies, mixed solution but not recommended for use with aliphatic and aeromatic hydrocarbons. It can also with- stand to a reasonable extent oixidising acids such as Chromic Acid and Nitric Acid. When filled with graphite it is resistant to Hydrofluoric Acid. The special formulation providies ecellent protecion against mixture of HF and HNO2 in the pickling of Stainless Steel and alloy steels.
